Description: A spring gun shoots a projectile at 5.3 m/s (when spring is compressed to second position). A basket is set on the lecture bench to catch the projectile. The angle of the gun is adjustable. Set the angle and calculate the range (or have the class calculate the range). The movie shows the range of the gun for the three different positions of the spring.
Special Instructions: The gun can be difficult to load. Push down as hard as you can with the stick provided. When ready, pull the string to release the spring.
