PIRA Classification: 5H30.20
Description: A large tube produces a visible beam of electrons. The tube is situated between Helmholz coils, which bends the beam to a desired radius of curvature, all the way to a complete circle. A permanent magnet can also be used to create a corkscrew path.
Special Instructions: Turn up the accelerating voltage to 200. A beam should appear shortly after. To bend the beam, increase the voltage on the coils, making sure the current doesn't go much higher than 1 A.
Condition: Good
Setup time: 2 minutes
Safety Issues: None
