Terminal velocity in water and glycerin

Description: One 90 cm tube is filled with water while the other is filled with glycerin. The glycerin tube is sealed and contains a 4 cm diameter aluminum ball. The water tube is open and a variety of balls may be dropped. The difference in terminal velocities is noted.

Special Instructions: Flip the glycerin tube first, then drop the ball in the water a few seconds later.
