Description: A microphone, connected to a scope, picks up the sound from a speaker, driven by a function generator. The signal from the generator is also displayed on the scope. The microphone is initially set up such that the two waves are in phase. The microphone is slid along the lecture bench until the microphone signal travels one wavelength across the scope screen. Calculate the speed of sound using frequency and wavelength.
