Description: A pop can is placed on a flat surface. A PVC or acrylic rod is then charged up. With the can's opening facing the class, bring the rod close to the side of the can. It should follow the rod.
Special Instructions: Make sure you hear the build up of charge on the rod. This will be indicated by a crackling noise. Will not work well when humid (beginning of fall semester or summer session).
