Description: Sewing needles are magnetized and placed in small cork stoppers. One at a time, the stoppers are placed in a dish of water. Surrounding the dish is a coil used to produce a magnetic field in the dish. As more needles are placed in the dish, they will move into a configuration such that they are at their lowest energy. Up to 8 needles may be added to the dish. The field can be changed to increase or decrease the spacing between each needle.
Special Instructions: The dish is placed on the overhead.
