Description: A copper sheet slides freely within vertical aluminum rails. An object, such as a pencil or carrot is placed at the bottom of the frame and the sheet is released from a height of 4 ft. The object is cut in half. The instructor then moves magnets into place near the bottom of the frame and inserts their hand. The copper sheet is then released again from 4 feet. Eddy currents will keep the instructor's hand safe.
Special Instructions: Make sure to put the magnets in place before inserting hand.
