Description: A 25 W lamp and capacitor are connected in series to a function generator. When the driving frequency is set high (>60 kHz), the lamp will glow brightly. As the frequency is decreased the current will drop and the lamp with dim. One can short the capacitor (remove from circuit) to show changing the frequency will have no effect on the brightness of the bulb.
