Description: A camera (the "Earth") is placed at the center of a rotating beam. A styrofoam ball ("the Moon") is placed at the far end of the beam. At the other end of the lecture hall, a light (the "Sun") shines on the apparatus. As the Earth/moon is rotated, the different phases of the moon are observed on the big screen.
